Designing digital Product experiences
I’m Ramish – a Senior Product Designer based London and Dubai. I achieve business goals by ideating and implementing creative solutions that help companies scale, launch products and build lasting relationships with their users.
Collaborating with start-ups, agencies, solopreneurs, corporations and local brick & mortar businesses:
+
DISCOVER
I explore the problem space, looking to understand what needs to be solved. This involves gathering foundational research, analysing existing data and engaging with the relevant stakeholders.
+
DEFINE
Next, I synthesise the insights from the previous phase to articulate a design brief. This brief includes a clear problem statement, product requirements and the constraints that the design solution will need to work within.
+
develop
In this diverging phase, I explore multiple design solutions. Before creating any concepts, further research may be carried out to understand more about our users. Activities involve brainstorming, creating IA’s, rapid prototype iteration, usability testing etc.
+
deliver
Lastly, once decided with the team, I start to finalise and refine a tangible solution as well as preparing for developer handoff, where I provide the designs and documentation. I also continually conduct QA testing until we have achieved the desired solution.
Hello there
I'm Ramish – a Senior Product Designer
The responsibility of a Product Designer is not to simply design screens based on preferences dictated to them. It is to understand the strategy behind the work in order to make informed decisions that leads to the creation of immersive experiences that will serve the targeted users.
I use design as a function to scale business operations.
My philosophy of values for creating great product experiences
+
Lead design as a solution for uncertainty
Do not create solutions to remove complexity but rather create intuitive and understandable product experiences. This may require implementing thoughtful complexity within the experience.
+
Design for opportunities, not for technical constraints
Although design should stay within the parameters of the available technology, technology itself should not define or limit the potential of creativity.
+
Great design is achieved together
Creativity is the by-product of collaboration – only the best product experiences are built working with teams of similar mindsets working towards a unified product vision and objectives.
+
Process orientated
Design requires an in-depth process for it to thrive. Work within a clear process but maintain flexibility for changing circumstances as we don’t know what tomorrow holds.
